Mechanical engineers apply the principles of mechanics and energy to the design of machines and devices: energy & motion. They design car, aeroplanes, fax machines, vibration control, automatic controls and robotics etc. They are manufacturing computer aided design, design automation, new manufacturing processes. Solar car, engines, refrigeration, heating system, prosthetics etc and medical devices are also developed by the mechanical engineers. The group holds a spectacular record of producing best in class engineers that comes from a dedicated disciplined program that puts the student a lot more in workshop than in class.With a record of largest workshop in the region spread in across 25000 sq. ft. & class leading machines and instruments with specific wind tunnel, the only one in the state.
